Job Description


We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable and maintaining good relationships with our suppliers. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be organized, and possess exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing supplier invoices and reconciling them with purchase orders
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues with suppliers
- Maintaining vendor accounts and contact information
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Providing support to the finance team as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to accounts payable

Education and Experience:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
