Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site HR & Ops Senior Supervisor with experience in the Agriculture industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR and operational activities at our site, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and promoting a positive and productive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes for all site employees
- Handle employee relations issues and ensure timely resolution of conflicts
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to employees
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company standards
- Manage benefit programs and ensure compliance with legal regulations
- Coordinate with department managers on staffing needs and workforce planning
- Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and evaluate operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Lead health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
- Provide training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Stay current on HR and operational best practices and recommend improvements as needed
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR and operations management
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in Agriculture (Blue Berrie farming
- BCEA
- LRA
- Food Hygiene
- Food H&S
- SIZA standards & rules
- HR & IR experience
- Advanced People and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of the area and surrounding (where to source candidates from and other farms where employees can work in "off season")
