Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Clerk. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing invoices, preparing billing statements, and verifying payment information. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and billing statements in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify and reconcile payment information
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with billing software or accounting systems preferred
